Henry weight in at 23lb last Friday, putting him at about 1/3 the weight of Zachary. Is Magnus about the same compared to Maizey? (Not sure if that tracks for various breeds.)
Well lets see, I am terrible at math, but at last weigh in Magnus weighed 6lb. (Not quite up to Henry's 23 LOL) Maizey weighs 12lb sometimes 13 so that puts him at half her weight? But Maymay is a very small Cavalier. I think standard is 13-18, although in America they tend to breed very large Cavaliers. With his bone structure it wouldn't surprise me if he ended up being pretty big. And not knowing his lines at all I really have no way to tell.
With the weight Henry is do you expect him to be similar size to Zachary?
According to the vet, Zachary SHOULD weight 68lb. That puts him at the small end, well under Beau's optimal 80lb. My guess, having seen mom and dad, is that Henry will be noticeably larger than Zachary, but probably not as big as the Big Dog.
But that's just a guess.
Wow. 6lb. For some reason he doesn't look that small in the pictures. You can hold him in one hand!
